I remember the first call I received from Amazing Pinatas, asking me if I was still interested in the graphic designer vacancy. They explained to me that they were a small company of no more than 10 employees, located in Los Angeles, California, and that their main value was to share joy, happiness and passion through their handmade piñatas. I answered yes, at that moment I didn't expect to be called by a company located in another country, much less by a company dedicated to handmade piñatas, but it had a lot to do with my aesthetic in illustration.
I started working at AP after sending them a test of what I could do for the brand, I did it the same day after my interview, and that same day before going to sleep I received the news that they wanted me to be part of their team.
In these 6 months, I have had the opportunity to develop my skills in graphic design, but they have also given me the possibility to learn about marketing and data analysis, to take a different position as Marketing and Design Director.
I have learned more and more to optimize my time. I dedicate part of my time to image editing and creation in Photoshop, Illustrator and VoxEdit. Our brand has increasingly acquired a clearer aesthetic value. I develop proposals for marketing strategies to improve our reach on social networks by analyzing data on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and come up with ways to make the brand's objectives clearer and more achievable for all team members.
AP is a growing company and each team member has worked to be more fantastic, creative, and teach the market the value of preserving a tradition like celebrating around piñatas.
